Great Granola

In the Gerber household we are creatures of habit. So most mornings we each have a bowl of "Great Granola." 

In a small saucepan, heat together:
3/4c. honey
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1/3 c. water
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

*I like to start with the vegetable oil and then measure the honey in that cup since it is greased, the honey comes out easily.

In a large bowl, mix together:
8 c. old fashioned rolled oats
1 c. raw wheat germ

*If I have flaxseed, I add about 1/2c. to the mix.

Pour sauce over oat mixture. Stir until coated. Spread onto a cookie sheet (one with higher sides, a jelly roll pan, works best). Bake at 375 for 10-15 minutes. The longer you bake it the crispier texture you will have.

Allow to cool. Store in an airtight container.
